Are You Ready for Next?

Devotional Scripture

“And the Lord will continually guide you, And satisfy your soul in scorched and dry places, And give strength to your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail. “And your people will rebuild the ancient ruins; You will raise up and restore the age-old foundations [of buildings that have been laid waste]; You will be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.” – Isaiah 58: 11-12

The Father is encouraging us as we draw this year to a close, to allow Him to impute His Will into our innermost being. He is telling us, that our new is waiting but He is inquiring, “Are you ready for the next level in your life?”

You have learned to thank Me for your good and bad times, trusting that I’m doing a new thing in you. So now that you have a full understanding that in order for something new to be accomplished the old must die; come and get your blessing. And as you begin to sit still and quiet, admiring the Gift of My Presence, you will begin to feel a sense of peace growing within you. This is not something that you accomplish through self-discipline and willpower; it is the opening of yourself to receive My blessings that has made you worthy of this peace.

Far too often people find it difficult to acknowledge their neediness. As your Father I have intentionally taken you through an array of hardships to initiate your need for Me. I have strategically designed a plan to have people, places, and things to intersect within your life to show you that your strength is irrelevant and your weaknesses are strikingly evident. You have now turned your back to the world and what you thought it had to offer. And you have accepted Me as your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and because of your acceptance of Me, your sins have been forgiven by Me and there is  no condemnation. And because there is no condemnation, come and get your next!

Prayer

Father we believe You for a new thing in us, and we thank You for not just hearing the prayers of Your people but for answering them as well. We thank You for the trials and tribulations as they have caused the old to die and to develop fertile ground for the new things to be birthed in this season.
