Devotional Scripture
Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. – Ephesians 3:20
Surrendering myself and allowing God to take over my life has been one of the most challenging obstacles I have ever faced. I had set goals and mapped my whole life out because I thought I knew what I wanted and what was best for me, until reality set in and I looked up and my life was a mess. Not once did I have God in those plans. God was nowhere in what I was doing and that was because I was unaware that the father is my Foundation. Once I allowed God to enter into my life everything changed. I started doing some soul-searching and realized that everything I’ve been through molded me and was preparing me for what He has for me. Now my story, my testimony I’m no longer ashamed of because my foundation is solid. Because of Him. I am not bound, and I am free.
What the father is giving me is better than my earthy desires because my soul needs Him.
If you have found yourself in this position, I suggest you put God first.
Do some soul-searching. Be ready to do the work.
Be ready to sacrifice what your flesh desires.
Be separate, be pure. The beauty comes from within.
God will put people in your life that will stay. Make room for what He has for you.
Be guarded. Stay in prayer.
And always remember to thank the Father for doing a new work in you.
