Did You Recognize My Hands In it?

 DEVOTIONAL PASSAGE

“I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am [self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].” – Philippians 4: 13

“And let the beauty and delightfulness and favor of the Lord our God be upon us; confirm and establish the work of our hands—yes, the work of our hands, confirm and establish it. – Psalm 90:17

DEVOTIONAL

It is good that you fall short sometimes of the one thing you have been fighting for. It reminds you to reach out for My hands in every situation, and to stop depending so much on your own strength to carry you through. Remember an abundant life is essentially, you depending entirely on Me continuously, and not how the world views it – based on a person’s health and wealth. Instead of trying to grab a hold of everything that you perceive as important, which is just based off your preconceived notice of how your life should be. Try relaxing so that you won’t miss what My hands are doing in your life. Take a seat in the audience of the movie called “your life” (preferably the front row), and please come with a mind-set that will free you to enjoy it all the way to the end as that’s when the plans that I have for your life will be revealed. You will see that the works of My hands is far better than anything your hands could have ever do. Come join us in the sanctuary in prayer as we seek God Him deliberately for the favorable works of His hands.

DEVOTIONAL PRAYER

Heavenly Father we ask that Your work (the signs of Your power) be revealed to Your people. Make us glad in proportion to the days that we have been afflicted here on earth; Help us to find rest in the works of Your hands. Father, please satisfy us with Your loving grace and mercy early in the morning so that it will set the tone for us to be full of joy all day long. Father, we ask these things and all other things in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
