DEVOTiONAL SCRiPTURE

“That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life—the life was made manifest, and we have seen it, and testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was made manifest to us—  that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.  And we are writing these things so that our joy may be complete.” – 1 John 1:1-4 

DEVOTIONAL​

To know deep lasting joy, we have to truly know Christ. Running through the land of the lost;  walking through the storms of destruction; swimming in the river of my own tears; throwing the opinions of other’s in the fire; shedding layer by layer and uncovering my wounds. I have been tearing down every wall built from my emotions. I have been climbing over every mountain that’s blocking my view. Pushing my way through those who were meant to keep me bound. Breaking chains so that my children can be free. Digging deeper in the soil of my foundation that was built on nothing but destruction.

I’m starting over.

My Father. 
My Protector.
My Provider.
My Strength.
My Foundation.
My Home.
My Disciplinarian.

​I need more of You to make it to the land You promised!  I am digging deeper to fellowship with Him so that I can continue to feel this joy, unspeakable joy. Are you?
