Everything Is In His Presence

Devotional Scripture

“Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.” -Romans 12:2

The Father is saying to us in this season to saturate ourselves in His presence, and we must come willingly with a teachable Spirit. And we must talk a closer walk with Him, eager to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. He is saying to us that through His Word there is a life like none other, a life of continual newness as we die to our flesh daily. He wants us to let go of the hold on our past and our old ways as He has forgotten them, and because He has, we must step confidently into our new season.

He is admonishing us to earnestly seek His face with an open mind, understanding that our walk with Him involves being transformed in our thinking. We may lose a few friends along the way, but I’m here to tell you that they were for that season and where His taking you they cannot go. So, shake the dust off your feet and prepare yourself for the journey that lies ahead. There is no need that He will not supply, no hurt He can’t heal, and no purpose He can’t fulfill. But we must acknowledge Him in all our ways and believe that with a steadfast eye He is watching over us. He wants us to allow ourselves to be embraced in His everlasting love, because He is love and in His presence you will find peace, refuge and fulfillment.

Heavenly Father help us to see ourselves as you see us. Father give us a renewed mind and a teachable Spirit, so that we no longer desire the things of this world but we would now long for You with my whole heart. Help me to release my past so that we can walk freely into my future. Father, we thank You for allowing us to give of ourselves freely to this adventure knowing that our true treasures lie ahead in You. We thank you for all that you are doing and all that you have done in Your son Jesus name, Amen!
