Finding Balance

DEVOTIONAL PASSAGE
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart. As working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. (Colossians 3:23-24)

DEVOTIONAL

Do you ever feel your life is out of control- out of balance? As a child of God we must take time from our busyness to set our priorities in order. Life is a gift and should be lived well. I know this firsthand as I used to live an unbalanced life of darkness — which indicates  confusion and frustration. I had a destructive tendency to burn candles on both ends, but I had to realize that if I did not get my life in order or should I say find balance, soon there will be no candle left to burn. I learned that burning candle on both ends was burning the spirit within me that inspired me (us) and propelled me (us) to move into forward motion. I must say the journey was not easy. It takes a lot of hard work and you have to be ready. But once you have find balance you will find stability.

DEVOTIONAL PRAYER

God I come before You today for balance I come for growth. Lord I want to thank You for just loving me through all the darkness and through all my sins. I am asking God that You keep me covered. I have been a little weak and sad not knowing what tomorrow will bring, but I know that You have me and You did not bring me this far to leave me. I thank You Lord for just loving me through my downfalls and my weariness. I thank You for being my strength for tomorrow and for my future days. God I come to You to just ask for Your help for my family, Pastor, and friends to find balance. Let them know you are there Lord and I just thank you in advance for bringing stability thru your Son, in Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
