Yolanda Kelty-Douthit is a passionate, open book who isn’t afraid to be vulnerable so that she can be a vessel for change and healing. She is a devoted wife to Monte Douthit and is the middle child of three born to the late Reverend Marvin N. Kelty and Pastor Rosa L. Marion. She was born and raised in Charlotte, NC, and was nurtured and grounded in faith with strong Christian values. Her father and mother were very influential in the community serving in Pastoral, Philanthropic, and Humanitarian roles. Consequently, she is familiar with the structure of the church, as she has worked in every facet and capacity of ministry. She has dedicated her life to the building of The Sanctuary. Although she is well versed in the things of ministry and God, she believes that if one has been called to spread the “Good News” one should do as the Word says; “study to show thyself approved.” Now that she is in the will of God, she was ordained into ministry by her mother, Pastor Rosa Marion in November 2014. She also returned to school and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Religion and a Master of Divinity fromLiberty University. Her goal is to always be growing in knowledge and in wisdom just as Christ did. She is currently continuing her studies at Liberty University, she is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Bible Exposition.
Pastor Yolanda embraces the dual call of preaching and teaching in various contexts as she is very passionate about the Word of God and discipleship, and looks forward to teaching in institutions. She seeks to be open to what God makes possible. To read more about Pastor Yolanda, please visitwww.yolandadouthit.com or listen to a teachingfrom Pastor Yolanda here.
