The soul of the Believer is of principal interest to the enemy and he will use thoughts and arguments to distract us from our faith. And many of us have been going into this battle ill prepared, and we are wondering why we’re forced to lower our flag and surrender ourselves over to the enemy long before the battle is over. Your enemies have exhausted you due to the constant attacks from every angle, and the shots to the head are becoming more than many of us can bear. The weapons we’re using in the carnal do not compare to the artillery used by our enemy. But what can you do? How will you ever win? We have weapons that we seldom use, but are very powerful. The full armor of God is an unmistakable weapon of offense and no doubt can be used as a tool for defense. This however is no ordinary armor. This armor is made and provided to us by the Spirit of God and is needed in spiritual warfare. When must have the belt of truth buckled around our waist, the breastplate of righteousness in place, and our feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to the shield of faith, with which we can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one and the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God – we can step out to fight our enemies head-on. The struggle is real, it is immediate and it is in front of us. Our future in God’s Kingdom is on the line, and we must take up the battle knowing what His Word promises:
“In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places. Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious].” (Ephesians 6:10-13 AMP)
There is no doubt in this statement, that if we dress for battle we will WIN!
Enter into Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, We thank You on today for allowing us access to Your full armor of protection, so that we will be able to withstand all of the schemes, the strategies and the deceits of the devil, as we know we can stand firm and hold our ground having the band of truth around our waist. Not faltering in lies and ungodly things that You find unpleasing in Your sight. But, Father we also ask that you will continue to allow Your word to aid as our shield of faith protecting us from the enemies flaming arrows of lies sent forth to destroy our purpose. We thank You that You are our Authority, The Lord of Host and Jehovah Sabboath – in Jesus Name We Pray, Amen!
