His Grace Is Greater Than Our Sins

“For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.” –  Romans 6:14

Mistakes are a part of life. I have discovered that they are a major part of your growth, as they cause us to make decisions that we don’t want to and force us to deal with the consequences that we tend to run from.

Those mistakes often involve our desire to obtain something, even if there is a risk and put ourselves in situations that can scar us for life. It not only affects our love one’s but cause us to look at ourselves in the mirror asking ourselves what  is wrong with us. Sometimes it takes the deepest cuts from the scars of our mistakes for us to realize we need help. I have found that the most painful experience teaches that we are  big part of the problem; especially if it’s recurring.

We all are battling with something, but once you come to terms in where the problem lies and you run to Him for help, you’ll see just how much He loves you.

The grace that He gives so freely in the midst of battling the mistake allows us to see another day;  to get through the situation; to better ourselves; to know who’s in control and Who has the power to turn that painful experience into a testimony.

I made a decision that I will not allow myself to be in bondage to my sins. I will take control over my desires, and I will battle the inner woman to be victorious over the sins that want to bind me, as God has been so merciful over me even though I don’t deserve it. His GRACE is GREATER than my sins.
