“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres.” – 1 Corinthians 13 4-10
These verses really depict the true meaning of the word “Love” through God’s eyes. And, we can rest assured that we can certainly find all of these qualities in our personal Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. And, we should look for these same characteristics in our relationships with man, but the problem with us is that we so often fail to. We spend more time trying to figure out how we can comprise our moral values to fit someone else’s selfish needs, and/or looking for the physical attributes of a person that we abandon the true mission “Love”. But the Lord never advised us to search out these characteristics in man, and neither does He. But, He did state to Samuel according to the Word. “The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7 ) I would also like to mention this love is not based off sex; so this means that sex is not love, and don’t allow anyone else to tell you any different. Please join me in the Sanctuary where you can gain a better understanding of what real love is through the Father’s Word, our actions, and our deeds. My covenant partners and I believe that love is not just a 4 letter word, but it is a 4 letter word in action. And, right now I would like to show you love through prayer. And, last but not least Heavenly Father we thank You for the love that You are renewing and the love that You are birthing in us. Amen
Dear Heavenly Father,
We recognize that Your love is the greatest love of all (that agape love) because You gave the life of Your only begotten Son to save ours, and no one before or since You has every duplicated that same love. We thank You for Your unwavering love that You show us daily, even when we don’t desire it. We thank You for allowing Your son to be our true example here on earth of love not merely in notion and in spite of the hell He went through for us. Heavenly Father, I thank You right now for allowing my brothers and sisters in Christ to not only give love, but to experience true love right now here on earth, and not have to wait until You come again. And, last but not least Heavenly Father we thank You for the love that You are renewing and the love that You are birthing in us. Amen
