Have you ever heard the phrase “another level another devil”? Many of you are problem feeling that way right now. The closer you get to your purpose the more the enemy is throwing at you. And all of the attacks are not coming from unfamiliar faces. But, they are coming from people who closely resemble individuals that you thought were your family and friends. Individuals who you hold near and dear to your heart and you thought that the feeling was mutual.
Now you are stuck in this place of unresolved anger, resentment, and unyielding heartache. You can’t bare the sight of the one’s you once entertained. The fact that you are reading this has stroke a cord, and reminded you of all the things that you have done to help them, and all the things that they have done to tear you down in return. Well, I was reminded this week that a thief will not intentionally break into an empty house to steal valuable processions, and the devil wouldn’t try to steal something he already has. The enemy wants to take your purpose from you so he is using the people that are close to you as a distraction to get you off course. Know that the issue isn’t about them or that in which you are anger about, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places. Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious]. (Ephesians 6:12-13)
Enter into Prayer
I stand in the gap for you today believing that you are able to release the anger and resentment that has kept you bound. That you will stand boldly looking the devil straight in his eyes and remind him that he is the greatest liar that has every swept this earth, and he can no longer take up residence in your life. You have the authority to serve him notice that his powers are useless, inefficient, and inoperative in your life. I decree it, I declare it in Jesus name, Amen!
