DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

Has there ever been a time when you have started something in your life, and midway through it you got fearful of the task? You started to feel like you were not built for the job, it is too great for you to handle, and you bit off more than you can chew?

However, all of a sudden doors being to open as you walked in His favor. Nevertheless, even now at this point you are still questioning your greatness, your ability, and even your finances. You do not want to blow it so you begin to shrink back again because somewhere between the doors that He opened up for you, and your troubled mind your faith abandoned you. It is the protocol of life—every success is preceded by despair. But, tell me why? Is it due to our minds and eyes not being able to see God’s plans for our life? But, it is said in His word, However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” the things God has prepared for those who love him.  These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.” – (1 Corinthians 2: 9-11) The truth is we may never get the full picture or scope that God has for our lives, and what His is given us has nothing to do with our greatness or ability, but everything to do with Him who does a great work in us. Join me today in prayer if you feel like your faith has abandon you, and you need for it to come back home. My partners and I, here in the sanctuary would like to join you in your manhunt for your faith.

DEVOTIONAL PRAYER

Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank Him for His answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ”.  Please do not allow your faith in God to die away, no matter what happens. Continue to press towards the mark even when it seems as if it is moving further away from you. I ask that you do not give up, nor give in to the physical appearance of a thing, but that you continue to seek after the spiritual things of God. We here in the Sanctuary will stand in faith with you as we say this prayer, believing God for your greatness and all other things that He has for your life in His Son Jesus’s name Amen, and Amen!
