DEVOTIONAL PASSAGES
“For the Son of God, Christ Jesus, who was preached among you by us–by me and Silvanus and Timothy–was not yes and no, but is yes in Him. For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us.” – 2 Corinthians 1: 19-20
“Now behold, today I am going the way of all the earth, and you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one word of all the good words which the LORD your God spoke concerning you has failed; all have been fulfilled for you, not one of them has failed.” – Joshua 23:14
DEVOTIONAL
This month of May 2016 I have witnessed a lot of hardships amongst the Body of Christ, and I just want to remind you my sister’s and brother’s in Christ that His Word cannot and will not come back to us void. Please, continue to stand on His Word in spite of what you are going through; because this current situation is no different then any other situation that you have been through “This too is temporary” and it must pass. And, if you are someone who has been continuously hit with the same hardship over and over for a few years, and you are feeling like it is due to your past sinful lifestyle; I’ve also come by to advise you, yes you, “That if you confessed your sins one for another than your sins have been wiped clean and blotted out.” (James 5:16) The Father will no longer remember them as His Word says. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9) So, today make a choice to respond to your current and future situations according to the fruit of the Spirit: in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control towards anything that is the contrary of the word of God – “The Law.” Take your rightful position in The Kingdom and begin to stand with your feet firmly planted on His promises. Why don’t you join me in the sanctuary in prayer as we stand with you believing God for the promises that He has for your life.
DEVOTIONAL PRAYER
Father we know that Your word is the absolute truth, and it is the same today, tomorrow, and forever. Father we believe that as we begin to seek You in prayer Your foundational truth, Your promises for our lives will be revealed, and we will no longer be awaiting Your promises to be revealed. But, instead we are walking fully in the promises that You have decreed over our lives because we know that Your promises are consistent with Your character, and You are not a man that You should lie. So we conclude this petition with a Yes and Amen in Your Son’s Jesus’s Name!
