Who Are You Chasing?

 Devotional Scripture
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

How long you are going to chase that bag? That man/woman? Love? Respect? What you feel what you deserve? The moment things go wrong we blame God. Lord why me? Asking, what kind of GOD allows this to happen?
A majority of our problems are from what we decided on our own. We don’t know God until something good happens like a fat check, then we are exclaiming “God is good –  ain’t He?” Or when our choices backfire, we are asking, “Why Lord? I’ve prayed and prayed!” It takes more than prayer. How can you expect all these things to be added to your life when you still have a “ME” mindset with a what I want train of thought?
We tend to sacrifice ourselves for relationships so easily whether it be physically emotionally or spiritually, while continually putting Him last. Our flesh has such a hold on us that just seeking Him and all His righteousness is just not enough, and that’s because we don’t have the patience to wait on Him. Years have passed and your still on standby and you begin to chase what you think you are owed, deserved or desire. I am here to share with you a lesson that I learned,  it’s time to seek Him and stand still because what’s for you will come to you! You don’t have to chase it!
